Growth Management

By Jeff Hatch-Miller

Candidate for State Representative; District 26

This information is provided by the candidate
Are you concerned about growth? So am I. That's why I spent eight years finding out what works — and what doesn't work — in preventing runaway growth. That's also why I turned away campaign support from pro-development and anti-development interests. Other candidates have chosen to accept significant development contributions, pledging "business as usual." Yet with growth management debates heated and tough choices to make, we can‘t afford bias. I will work for you to support a healthy economy, able to withstand market fluctuations, while ensuring that Arizona retains those qualities that attracted us here in the first place:

  • Making growth pay for itself.
  • Planning for good times and bad.
  • Giving communities the tools they need to really manage growth.
  • Preserving and enhancing the character of existing neighborhoods.
  • Directing resources into protecting what we have and love about Arizona.
