I earned a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering, and I have extensive experience in water quality and treatment. I believe my experience and knowledge of District water problems provide great benefits to our community.I earned a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering, and I am a registered Professional Engineer. I have extensive experience in water quality and treatment, and I have published many articles in professional journals dealing with these issues. I was a member of the Blue Ribbon Panel that established the California Department of Health Services UV disinfection criteria. I am the past Chair of the American Water Works Association Section System Water Quality Committee. (The American Water Works Association is the most prestigious professional organization for water engineers.) I am currently the Delegate at Large of the American Water Works Association Section Water Quality Division. I believe my experience and knowledge of District water problems provide great benefits to our community. |
