Summary of Arguments FOR Proposition 11:
Proposition 11 authorizes local governments to voluntarily share sales tax revenue by a two-thirds vote of the city council or board of supervisors of each jurisdiction. It was placed on the ballot by the Legislature with overwhelming bipartisan support and support from local governments and taxpayer and business groups.
