Full Biography for Bob C. Birdwell

State Representative; District 51

The youngest of three children of Jean Mary and Capt. Carl Birdwell, Jr., U. S. Navy. Traveled a lot with the family being in the Navy. Acquire my GED at 15 and joined the Merchant Marines, serving for five years. The family settled in Tennessee with roots going back to the 1800's in Red Boiling Springs and Murfreesboro. Graduate of Nashville Auto Diesel College and ITT Technical Institute with a degree in Electronic Engineering. Father of three. Worked with Habitat for Humanity, Red Cross and Community service for neighborhood school. Enjoy restoring cars, home improvements, reading and helping others. Member of First Church Unity and leader of the prayer group.
