My belief is that every child can and will learn well, with "success expectancy" and support from parents, teachers, community and board of education members. As a board member my support of enhanced education in the Hayward Unified School District will include the following:

  • The initiation of a "Literacy Now Program"
  • The creation of a partnership between HUSD and the community through "Partnerships In Education (PIE)"
  • Planning a "Teach Tolerance Program" to improve relationships among the diverse population.
