- My Priorities
-
As the school district faces the ongoing challenges of its recent rapid growth, I want to continue to ensure quality programs and to provide the best possible education to all of our children.
- District Actions and Accomplishments
-
During my term on the School Board, the district has moved forward on many fronts, including the development and implementation of an innovative futures plan, including academic excellence, capital improvements, technology development, and partnerships with parents, businesses, and the community -- all aimed at fostering student learning.
- Experience and Qualifications
-
As a Board Member, I have actively contributed to the district's achievements. I have been an active volunteer in our schools. As an attorney and a member Legislative Committee of the San Mateo County School Boards' Assn., I understand the "big picture" - the role of our district in the larger scheme of California public education and have worked to influence our legislature on statewide policy issues that impact our district.
