Full Biography for Brigitte S Shearer

Candidate for
Director; Highlands Recreation District

I am a 7-year Highlands resident, dedicated to keeping the Rec as a safe, interesting place for ALL Highlands residents to use. I have 3 young children and work as the Business Manager for Shearer Law Offices, a law firm located nearby. My educational and career background provide the credentials necessary to deliver responsible, appropriate perspectives to the challenges which face the daily operation of the Rec. I have a Chemical Engineering degree from Princeton University and an MBA from Stanford. My prior work experience includes positions in sales and marketing, as well as management consulting. I served as operational director of the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at Stanford's Business School for 2 years prior to becoming an entrepreneur myself at Shearer Law Offices. I have been actively involved with Highlands School for the past two years.
