A Letter To The People Of Fresno

My name is Michael Eagles, and I am running for Mayor of Fresno 2000 as a Republican Candidate.

I have never held down a public office, but I am working on it. One of the main reasons I am running for Mayor of Fresno is, in my opinion, that the elected official is not working hard enough for the American people. As far as I am concerned, they are getting paid enough money and not doing their jobs to the best of their abilities. They are either stupid, lazy, or just plain dumb.

Of course, I was born and raised in Fresno, California, and I attend grammar school, high school, and college here. I come from a hard working family who made millions in the San Joaquin Valley through farming and the food business. By the way, I am in the Building, Land Development Business and Home Improvements. I am the chief executive officer of my companies.

The main two reasons I am running for Mayor of Fresno is that crime and unemployment are both out of hand. I want a "War On Crime" now, and let's get those jobs going so we can start building again. Now for the "War On Crime". We should get the community together and educate people on how they can defend themselves from crime. We need a P.R. program to fight crime and win with the help of law enforcement. We are going to hire more police and get those neighborhood watches going. I will also be setting up programs for the youth of Fresno to keep them entertained and out of troubles.

Fresno downtown area is sickening. We need to develop that area into an Old Town Fresno. Clovis had the right idea. After downtown area is put together, we will bring the Grizzlies Stadium in. We need to get that job market started up. Well, we will get a P.R. program and go out there and sell the people the idea of bringing their industries and business to Fresno through tax breaks and other incentives which we will work out with the other CEOs Fresno has a poor image nationwide. We are going to improve upon Fresno's image with an excellent Public Relation and Marketing program. We are going to be the #1 America's City next time we enter into the contest. We had lost this year for #1 America's city.

Again I say, the Fresno elected public servant is not doing his job or else crime and unemployment would be way down. Talk is cheap and that's all about all they do, never really getting to the heart of the Fresno Problems and solving them. Maybe they don't have answers or else they are just well dressed, stupid people. They are always using the term leadership in politics. Where is it in Fresno? I don't see it. They get elected, collect their paychecks, retire from the job and get on the lecture circuit and write books. I guess the idea "Fake it while you make it" is the elected public servant's motto.

When elected as Mayor of Fresno, I will solve all the problems of Fresno and the one's I cannot solve, I will go to the American people of Fresno and ask for help. We will then figure it out and find a solution.
