About Emily Cheng

Her Business & Educational Background

Emily graduated from UC Berkeley in Computer Science and worked as a computer programmer for the County of Santa Clara for ten years. She then joined her husband in their company, Kemily, an electroplating analysis laboratory. She managed all financial aspects of the business. She is currently the President of Imay Incorporated, an investment company.

Her Volunteer Activities

· Los Altos Hills Planning Commissioner: 1991-99, chair 1998-99. · Los Altos-Los Altos Hills Joint Volunteer Award Committee Member. · Board Member, Self-Help for the Elderly: 1989-present. · Founder, Scholarship Endowment Fund for the Hong Kong Schools Alumni Association. · Los Altos Hills "Spirit of the Hills" Committee Member: 1989, 1990, 1991 & 1999.

Her Family Life

Emily has resided in Los Altos Hills for nineteen years with her husband Frank, and two daughters Serena and Stephanie. Serena graduated from Menlo School and Stephanie from Pinewood School. Serena graduated from UC San Diego where Stephanie is currently a senior.
