Biography for State Representative Patricia Clancy Patricia Clancy is a sophomore, Republican member of the House of Representatives. She serves the 35th House District, which consists of Colerain and Crosby Townships, Green Hills Village, North College Hill and parts of Springfield Township in Hamilton County. A native of Cincinnati, she graduated from McAuley High School and received her Bachelors of Science form the University of Cincinnati in 1974. She has resided in Colerain Township for many years. During her first term in office, Representative Clancy was awarded the coveted Watchdog of the Treasury Award. In addition, Speaker Davidson has appointed her to serve on the Joint Council on MRDD. Representative Clancy serves as a member of the Insurance Committee, the Child and Family Services Committee, and the Local Government and Townships Committee. She is the Vice Chairperson of the Transportation and Public Safety Committee. Issues that Representative Clancy is concerned about include: tougher penalties for Driver's Under the Influence (DUI) and related crimes, welfare reform, child abuse issues and domestic violence. |
