- Advocated for a citywide performance audit, and made sure the audit recommendations were integrated into this year's city budget.
- Worked to balance our city budget and maintain a $1.5 million reserve.
- Hired the new city manager to make sure our city is operating as efficiently as possible.
- Completed the Pinole Vista Crossing Shopping Center which adds 900 local jobs and an annual $1.5 million in sales tax revenues to our city.

- Hired the new police chief to reach an even higher level of service for the police department.
- Fought to make sure the police department is operating at its fully authorized strength with state-of-the-art equipment.
- Strengthened Pinole's Neighborhood Policing Program.
- Finalized plans to build a new fire station here in the Pinole Valley.
- Initiated and upgraded our traffic mitigation program to make our streets safer.

- Started the Farmer's Market and the summer concert series in Fernandez Park.
- Renovated Old Town Park View Plaza with a safe pedestrian walkway for easier family access.
