I will not accept campaign contributions from individuals Corporations, or PACs.The $1300 other candidates have spent on statements of qualifications I donated toCharity
I have declared to the Times, the Herald and the CC County Clerks Office that I will accept no campaign contributions from individuals, corporations or PACs. Furthermore, I will spend no money of my own or my family on my campaign. The Statement of Qualifications that appears in the Sample Ballot costs approximately $1300 for each candidate who files one in my race. I have declined in writing to the County Clerk to file such a statement. Many of these statements are misleading to the voters, do not stick to the issues or true qualifications and do not hold to the strict standards as does the LWV smartvoter websites.

I have instead donated approximately that amount of money to the Martinez Community Center for a much needed dishwasher and for wholesome, nutritious food to feed homeless persons on evenings and weekends.
