Biographical Sketch Robert D. Thompson was born in Fullerton and raised in Buena Park. He attended school in the Buena Park School District, and he has been a resident of Buena Park for 47 years. He enjoys surfing, running marathons, and playing classical guitar. His wife Carol and he have five children; they all attended Beatty School and Buena Park Jr. High School. They enjoy camping, hiking, and singing together. He is a graduate of Buena Park High School and Fullerton Jr. College. In 1970, while attending Fullerton JC, he went to Japan on a six-week Youth Exchange Program sponsored by Lions Club International and the Buena Park Host Lions Club. In 1977 he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic graduating summa cum laude and valedictorian of his class. He has been in private practice in this area since January 1978. Dr. Thompson is a former assistant professor at Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and a former adjunct faculty member at Fullerton College where he assisted students in preparing for a career in chiropractic. He is currently enrolled at National University pursuing a bachelor's degree in Information Technology. |
