This is my official candidate statementYorba Linda, the premier city in Orange County, is a beautiful and safe place to live. We must do everything we can to protect the unique quality created by our hillsides, streetscapes, open space, and neighborhoods. As your Councilman, I will put my education and professional experience to good use for the City of Yorba Linda: BA in Criminal Justice, CSUF. Graduate studies, Public Administration, Pepperdine University. Fundraiser for numerous civic and cultural organizations, including the YMCA. Lions Club Member. Recently retired Brea Police Captain, 29 years law enforcement service. Past Vice-President, Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce, Community Events Chair. My wife and I live here with our daughter, grandchildren, and my 85 year-old aunt. I have been actively involved for over a decade in youth sports and the arts with my three daughters and look forward to providing quality educational, athletic, and cultural experiences for my grandchildren. Character Counts! Mayor Ryan, who has endorsed my candidacy, has begun returning core values and civility to our Council Chambers. Also, I am proud to be endorsed by your police officers, BPA. They trust me to provide the leadership and management skills our city so desperately deserves. Your vote will allow me to help. |
