As your governing board member, I am working toward the excellence our students, teachers, and community are experiencing. During my term, I have made a difference and I am proud to report that we are:

• Maintaining a balanced budget and healthy reserve.
• Improving educational access with the successful accreditation of California's newest community college, Santiago Canyon College, serving Orange, Anaheim Hills and Villa Park.
• Increasing educational opportunities by overseeing new business development programs and The Market Place, serving Santa Ana and Garden Grove.
• Lowering administrative costs so that Rancho has the best ratio in California.

• Ensuring efficient use of tax dollars.
• Keeping politics out of education.
• Increasing traditional academic core courses.
• Increasing technology, computer, and vocational training.
• Continuing to provide safe campus sites for students and staff.
