Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Robla Elementary School District

I am 46 and have resided in the Robla community since 1984. I've been married since 1981 and the father of two sons, ages 7 and 16. I have been a Federal employee since 1972, and have been an Air Traffic Controller at the Sacramento TRACON since 1981.

I have been a parent volunteer at Robla School since 1993. I have been Chairperson of the Robla School Site Council since 1994, and a founding member and Treasurer of the Robla Education Foundation. Both of these positions have served well as an educational experience dealing with funding, budgets, and the Education Codes. Through conducting the annual fundraising at Robla and Taylor St. Schools, I have helped generate thousands of dollars that have been used to provide additional classroom activities. I will continue to conduct annual fundraising activities. I am a Committee Chairperson for a local Cub Scout Pack and have been involved with youth activities for several years.

I would like the voters of the Robla District join me as we work towards restoring financial stability, and employee trust in our School District. These are critical towards achieving academic success for all of the students in the Robla District.
