Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Berryessa Union School District

Born and raised in east San Jose, David J. Neighbors has called San Jose home nearly all his life. Born into a working-class family, David is the youngest of five sons. He attended Toyon Elementary, Piedmont Middle, and Independence High schools. David showed leadership early as he served on the student council and as a team captain for several sports teams.

David went on to earn two degrees from San Jose State University, including a Masters in Taxation. He has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1992. Currently, David is a Tax Manager at Johanson & Yau Accountacy Corporation in San Jose.

David and his wife, Debbie, have two daughters attending Toyon Elementary School. Brianna is in the 3rd grade and Sara Emily has just started preschool.
