Introduction
The Manteca Unified School District is facing unprecedented growth. More than 4000 new homes are being built in the district. Over 2500 new students will be enrolled in our schools in the next 2 years. It is anticipated that the current classroom capacity will be exceeded before September 2001.

Solutions to problems such as these required immediate decisions and real leadership. In his running of Mary Graham Children's Shelter and managing the shelter's 3.2 million dollar budget, Dale has shown that he has what it takes to make these tough decisions.
