Todd Keegan is a supporter of Public Education and will do everything possible to ensure that every child in California receives a high qualilty education.Todd Keegan is pro public education. He sees these times as exciting and offering real-time opportunities to shape our state's future educational structure. The governor and the state legislature have made education their top priority and reforms and improvements are in place and are beginning to pay dividends. Todd Keegan would further advance this cause in specific areas. Todd Keegan has pledged to set up Educational Action Committees composed of parents, students, teachers, administrators, and school board members throughout the 77th district. Too long these groups have been ignored by the incumbent and have had little input into his educational proposals or priorities. These committees will meet regularly, have full access to Todd Keegan, and they will be listened to. Public education is too important to allow a special interest group in the 77th to try to derail it with whimsical platitudes and nonsensical curriculum proposals. Todd Keegan will insist that the state maintain safe and healthy schools. No longer should our children have to be educated in locations and buildings that adults would not tolerate for their day to day lives. The following are critical for our schools:
