Community involvement is also no stranger to Susan Marie Weber. Between 1987 and 1994, Susan was involved in the Palm Desert High School Foundation. The purpose of the foundation was to assist teachers in obtaining useful teaching aids not available under regular school funding. When Susan has a few moments while not involved in the community, she enjoys visiting with one of her several god-children. In 1978 Susan first learned about the newly formed Libertarian party. The Statement of Principles embodied her personal beliefs, and she immediately changed her voter registration from Independent to Libertarian. Susan volunteered for the campaign of Jerry Gentry and twice volunteered as treasurer for the campaign of Bonnie Flickinger. |
