Candidate for
Board Member; Castro Valley Sanitary District

My 15 years of of experience as a professional geologist has provided me with qualifications that are unique to any of the candidates. My specialization in subsurface investigations, waste recycling and disposal, environmental assessment, and regulatory compliance will enable me to provide new technical expertise to the Board.

I will work to:

• Implement a downtown waste and recycling program to reduce littering.
• Initiate a comprehensive school recycling program.
• Maintain the annual bulky waste and appliance pickup option.
• Keep the sewer lateral reimbursement program.
• Continue the tire amnesty day.

I am the only challenger who has attended nearly every Board meeting over the past year. I am cognizant of past, present and pending issues of concern to the Board, and am willing and able to serve the community without missing a beat.

I will be accessible to the community. I will listen and respond to all comments, questions, suggestions and ideas presented to me.
