Closing Statement

IF YOU WANT SOMEONE WHO WILL BE "A NEW VOICE AND VISION FOR THE FUTURE" AND LOVES OUR CITY, AND IS PROUD OF OUR SCHOOLS AND TEACHERS, THEN VOTE FOR ME.

In the second forum, my opponent mentioned that because he lives and works in Downey, he has more time. I have the full support of my company and boss. My boss is a product of the Downey schools and graduated for Warren high school. But what is more important is that the school board members have the qualifications and ability to do the job and not based on an opinion that they deserve the position. I have the ability and qualifications.

As mentioned, I am seeking election to Downey School Board because of my LONG TERM, vested interest in ensuring our children's success. This is supported by the fact that all my 3 children attend Downey schools at the elementary, middle and high school levels. I see the issues facing our children.

My wife is a teacher in the Downey School District and a member of 4 PTA's. I see the issues that challenge our teachers and administrators.

As a certified public accountant, I know fund accounting, school budgets, contracts and grants.

As a licensed real estate broker, I know the construction process, bid process and dealing with change orders.

IF YOU WANT SOMEONE WHO EXPERIENCES THE ISSUES THAT OUR KIDS AND TEACHERS AND ADMINISTRATIORS FACE ON A DAILY BASIS

IF YOU WANT SOMEONE WHO HAS A LONG TERM VESTED INTEREST IN ENSURING OUR CHILDREN'S SUCCESS
