Schools are the foundation of every community, and as a resident, business owner, and parent in this community, a good school district is my priority.I have enjoyed living in Downey for the past 20 years, and I have enjoyed working in Downey for the past 19 years. I have come to love this city, and my hope is that Downey continues to be a relished place to live and work for many years to come. One of the ways to ensure that is to maintain and improve our schools, since the schools are the foundation of every community. The needs of the children, and teachers, and school administrators are not at odds with the needs of the community. To maintain and improve our schools is what I intend to do if I'm elected to the Downey School Board. I have an opportunity to serve my community at the highest level; and as I've proven from my prior and current posts held, I take my commitments seriously. If you are a voting resident of the city of Downey, whether you have children or not, vote for me on November 6, you will not be disappointed. I will serve you well. |
