I have an extensive 18-year career in higher education. I am the Assistant Vice President Emeritus, Administration and Finance, California State University, Los Angeles. Prior to this position, I worked 16 years in community colleges as the Vice Chancellor of Business and Fiscal Operations for the Rancho Santiago College District, in Orange County; as the Vice President, Administrative Services for the Citrus College District, in Glendora; and as the Fiscal Administrator for the Santa Monica College District in Santa Monica. I also have served as an Adjunct Professor, teaching business, management, economics and accounting. I have been and served as an advisor to student clubs, organizations, and associated student bodies. The former half of my professional career has been varied and involved working in state and municipal governments, private industry, owning and operating a business, and military service. I hold a Masters of Business Administration in Management and a Bachelors of Science in Economics and Statistical Analysis. I am married and have three children. |
