As a Board Member during the State Takeover, I have experienced and supported a complete overhaul and rebuilding of the District's infrastructure both financially and academically. This experience has given me the perspective that is valuable and unique in considering school district organizational issues. I am part of a school district that has come through a drastic demographic change. We are making the appropriate adjustments in staffing and programmming to address the needs of our current and future constituency. Because of this, I stand ready, able and willing to serve the entire L.A. County community in doing what's best for our children.
