I hold the fundamental belief that the school board members, all five of them, have the ultimate responsibility for making sure that the District is the best that it can be. Staff morale, fiscal responsibility, safe schools, ensuring community and parent involvement, are all important factors that help create a quality school district.

As a classroom teacher in the Alisal School District, I know first-hand what works with children. My goal as a board member is simple but not easy: to ensure that the students leaving 6th grade have everything that they need to find success in the 7th grade and beyond.
