Dr. Ognyanovich will continue to work to increase community participation at MPC and vice versa, supporting community outreach programs and community-focused education at the college. Her ability to work with a broad spectrum of groups and people makes her a natural for a trustee position at a campus so diverse as MPC. She is approachable, reasonable, and willing to listen to all sides of a question, at the same time being a strong spokesperson for the cause she espouses. I would like to see her be able to continue the work she has started as an MPC Board member, in which capacity she has tackled many difficult issues and is working to resolving them.
