I was born in Anderson Township and attended Anderson School. I taught for thirty-four years in Cincinnati, Maryland, Virginia, the Azores (DOD), and from 1979 to 2001 in the Forest Hills Schools. I was commended by the Board of Education everywhere I taught. I was Special Educator of the Year in 1980, three times Teacher of the Year at the building level and in 2000 the Wilson P.T.A. presented me with the Friend of Cildren award. I was also the Jiffy Lube teacher of the Year at the Elementary level.
