The need to balance the quality of life as gainst the need for an adeqaute financial base.
After having resided in various other parts of Cincinnati over the last two and one-half decades, I can attest to the beauty and sigularity of this village. Its historic center, the village square and the greenery that can be found at almost any spot in the village must be preserved for the future.
All of these attributes as well as the excellent school system that contribute to the quality of life in the village must be preserved. To do so, however, will require a larger economic base as costs rise over time. I feel it is crucial that we balance both aspetcs. Every development proposal must be closely scrutinized for its impact on the current amenities of the village and must, if necessary, be modified so as not to endanger the beauty fo the village.
