Born in Chicago, Illinois in 1954, currently reside in Rescue, California with my family.

Awarded Bachelor of Science degree in biology, with dual minor in chemistry and physics from Northern Illinois University, Dekalb, Illinois in 1976.

Awarded Juris Doctorate degree from Western State University College of Law, Fullerton, California in December 1982.

Admitted to the California State Bar Association in June 1983.

Opened law office in Orange County, California specializing in real estate law and criminal appeals.

Joined the Stanislaus County District Attorney's Office as a Deputy District Attorney in 1985.

Joined the El Dorado County District Attorney's Office as a Deputy District Attorney in 1987.

Elected El Dorado County District Attorney in 1994.

Re-elected District Attorney in 1998.

Currently Chairperson of the El Dorado County Elder Abuse and Protection Council.

Past Chairperson of the El Dorado County Domestic Violence Coordinating Council.

Member of the El Dorado County Gang Task Force.

Mentor Attorney of El Dorado County Teen Court Program.

Member of the El Dorado Hills Rotary Club since 1995, past director of the International Committee.
