Political Philosophy for Lee Lundrigan
Candidate for |

|
Changes are needed in the clerk-recorder's office which oversees elections, real estate records, marriage licenses, birth and death records and over 600 different documents. The 22-member Election Review Committee has determined the office has slipped into disrepair. The office requires a proven manager. Stanislaus County deserves the best. Lee Lundrigan will work to return excellence to our county clerk recorder's office to make it the best in the state. Simply the most qualified candidate. My education has focused on organizing and revising failing businesses. My experience in employment and administrative law equips me with a strong legal background, including election laws. Restore public confidence in the election process. I will implement community outreach and education for voters, develop the public's access to campaign finance records, improve services to candidate, and review the various resources and vendors used in the elections division. The office will actively purge outdated, moved deceased voter registrations. Professionalize the office. I will work to return accuracy, a prompt public service counter, and responsive and intelligent customer service via telephone. Imput for improvement from traditional customers, such as local title companies, will be sought and job cross-training implemented for staff. Upgrade technical equipment and systems for speed and accuracy. To ensure that every vote is counted, upgrading of current voting equipment using optical scan or touch screen systems approved by the CA Secretary of State Voting Modernization Bond Act of 2002; electronic recordings directly from title companies; implementation of timely and accurate recording data; quicker indexing of important records will be implimented. |
