I do not seek this office with an "agenda" nor do I intend to favor one side over the other.

I have served over 10 years as a criminal prosecutor, so I know first hand the damage that criminals do to our society and I will have no hesitancy in punishing them. I have also served over 10 years representing persons accused of committing crimes, so I know first hand that not everyone accused is necessarily guilty. That is why our Founding Fathers wrote the 4th, 5th, 6th and 8th Amendments into our Constitution.

I will be fair to both sides, always recognizing that our community has the right to expect their judges to protect them from both predatory criminals and misguided or overzealous law enforcement.

Finally, I have also served over 10 years representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of civil law matters, so I know first hand how frustrating and expensive civil litigation can be. I will work to resolve those conflicts as rapidly and fairly as I can.
