Member, City Council; City of Brentwood

It is my vision to make Brentwood the safest premier city of Contra Costa. Creating jobs and reducing traffic congestion are two of my highest priorites. I promised to manage growth during my term four years ago. I have. As part of the General Plan Update Committee I was successful in reducing the grow out population from 95,000 to 75,000. With the recent Urban Limit Line settlement that grow out population is now reduced to 67,000. None of my opponents can claim a reduction of Brentwood's population by 28,000. This current council is not responsible for urban sprawl, in fact we are proud of reducing our grow out population by almost 30%.
