Born in San Francisco, raised in Walnut Creek. I have lived in Concord and the MDUSD for 17 years, with my wife Marla. Two daughters attended MDUSD, kindergarten through high school graduation, both graduating with honors. Third daughter is in third grade at Mountain View Elementary.

Active parent volunteer in MDUSD: as parent chaperone; parent advisor to El Dorado M.S. Law Works; three years coached Odyssey of the Mind team from El Dorado M.S., two years as regional champions; NetDay coordinator for Concord H.S.; four years Concord H.S. Band Booster.

I work for a high-tech healthcare company, Omnicell Inc. (http://www.omnicell.com) that provides supply chain and medication management solutions (hardware and software); pharmacy, anesthesiology, and supply systems to facilitate controlled delivery to clinicians in emergency rooms and critical care facilities; web-based materials management software; and integration services to hospital information systems and patient databases.
