Four years ago, I made a committment to excellence if I were elected, I promised four main items, all have been accomplished.Four years ago, when I ran for the Board and was elected, I promised to: Bring Financial Responsibility to the Hospital # Done -operating losses turned into substantial surpluses, reinvested surpluses in more staffing, equipment, and maintenance -Reduced Administrative expenses while increasing staffing costs by 28% Improve Morale among overworked, underpaid employees. # Done -Increased Staffing FTE from 1,437 to 1,684 - nurses, clinical staff. -Reduced workload, increased salaries and benefits to competitive rates, $15 million over 3 years. -implemented Service Excellence Program
Bring emergency medical services to the South Valley - Done -Constructed
