My wife, Joanne and 1 are lifelong residents of Monterey. We have four children and ten grandchildren.

During my sixteen years as Mayor and eight years as Councilman, I have worked diligently to be a conscientious, responsible voice of fairness and moderation for all Monterey citizens.

I have tried to approach the Mayoral duties of one of California's most prestigious cities in a dignified way.

I will continue to address issues impartially with integrity and compassion.

I have the time, energy and experience to be the Mayor of this beautiful historical city and would consider it a great honor to continue to serve the Citizens of Monterey.
