Throughout my term of office, I have visited the homes of thousands of residents of Los Alamitos. I didn't just talk to people when I was asking for their vote. I felt that it was important to contact you, the citizens, to find out what your questions and concerns were about Los Alamitos. When I rang your doorbell, we discussed City matters that were of interest to you. If I didn't get to talk to you personally, I left a note with my phone number at your door so that you could contact me about problems. I felt then, and still do that it is very important to listen to and respond to the needs of the people in our community. |
