Council Member; Town of Los Gatos

Paul Dubois is a family man, businessman and community volunteer.

Paul is married with three children and eight grandchildren. He and his wife Mary have lived in Los Gatos for twenty-one years.

For the past twenty-three years Paul and Mary have owned a highly successful security consulting/engineering firm, which they moved to Los Gatos in 1981. Paul spent his early years in law enforcement, having attained the rank of sergeant and acting lieutenant.

Paul's background includes service in many community volunteer organizations including:

-Current Vice-Chairman Los Gatos Planning Commission
-Chairman Architectural Standards and Hillside Committee
-Served as a member of the Conceptual Development Advisory Committee
-Served five years on the Community Services Commission, 2 years as Chairman
-Served on the Mayor's Task Force to study the feasibility of a Children's Hospital for Silicon Valley.
-Served on the sub-committee to develop security programs for the San Francisco Bay Area's bid for the 2012 Olympic Games.
-Served Boy Scouts of America, a former Cub master (and an Eagle Scout himself)
-Member of the Los Gatos Kiwanis Club
-Served as chairman of the Silicon Valley Children's Shots for Tots and Children's Miracle Network programs
-Distinguished Past Lt. Governor of the California-Nevada-Hawaii District Kiwanis International
-Current Vice-President and past-President of the Los Gatos Community Foundation
-Served as Chairman San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of The America Society for Industrial Security
