La Mesa enjoys an excellent reputation for public safety, and I will work to keep our community safe.
Our citizens deserve to live in a community where we can feel safe to take a walk in the evening and enjoy the sunset and the view of Mt. Helix. We work hard so we can relax and participate in community events, such as: Oktoberfest, Thursday evening Car Shows, the Flag Day Parade, knowing that these will be fun, entertaining events, free from conflict and disruptive behavior.

I am committed to maintaining the fine reputation of our Police and Fire Departments. My experience in the fire service gives me the ability to assess the current condition of our public safety programs, and determine what steps need to be taken to improve them while maintaining financial responsibility.
