Candidate for
Board Member; Lakeside Fire Protection District

Carlynne Allbee has been a resident of the Flinn Springs part of the Lakeside Fire District since 1969. She is well aware of the various "parts" of Lakeside since she has many friends, as well companies and stores she does business with, in all the areas of Lakeside.

She has been active with her horses in the community. The Tumbleweed Riding Arena has been like a second home - both as she shows her horses, helps others show them, or works on the trees there to provide more shade. She has appeared in parades with her horses throughout Southern California, first with her full sized horses and now with her Miniature Horses. She organized the Miniature Horse Cavalcade parade group so other proud owners and friends of miniatures could share them with the parade crowds. Her horses have entertained families at birthday parties and carnivals, plus visited "oldsters" in convelescent homes, or children in schools (as Carlynne's schedule permits). In fact, the County of San Diego Board of Supervisors presented Carlynne and her horses with special proclamations in recognition of their public service.
