Embracing technology and culture to ensure that their education is not focused merely on a higher API score.Rather than 'teaching to the test' I will ensure that the education of the student provides a foundation for dealing with life's experiences in their future. This not only includes preparation for the work force and/or college, but experiencing what life has to offer, including dealing with all of the issues involved in raising families, and having a positive influence on the surrounding community. With the superior API that Jefferson continues to achieve, the appropriate approach is to ensure a complete and well-rounded education that will benefit the student for more so than knowing just what is on the test. The byproduct of this approach will result in continued superior API achievement - not to mention a more complete preparedness for what lies ahead of the student - life (beyond the test.) |
