The Board must take more action and initiative to hire the best MDs, Nurses and professionals who will commit to the area.With the high cost of living in the San Mateo area, the Board must ensure the retention of the best MDs, RNs, and health care professionals. The Board should continue to help the community colleges train and educate future nurses for instance. Currently more has to be done in order to meet the new demands of an ever growing and aging population here in the District. As an elected Board member, I will ensure that members take a proactive role in increasing the recruitment of doctors and nurses who are committed to this area |
