LEE B. DUBOC Age: 47

Occupation: City of Menlo Park Commissioner/Mother

Education and Qualifications:

B.S., Stanford University and a 14-year resident of Menlo Park. We need to restore common sense to City Council decisions.

For 10 years I've served as a Parks and Recreation Commissioner working with various citizen groups to improve our parks and recreation programs. Collectively, we've made common sense decisions that have helped improve Menlo Park. I was also a volunteer member of the Measure T Steering Committee which will provide vital new funds for our parks and recreation facilities.

I have also worked as a volunteer to improve our schools -as a member of the Hillview Middle School community service program and the Menlo Park-Atherton Education Foundation.

Unfortunately, common sense seems to have disappeared from some on our City Council. The Santa Cruz Avenue disaster; the bicycle tunnel turmoil; the interminable delay to widen Sand Hill Road; various decisions that have cost our City hundreds of thousands of lost tax dollars.

I've successfully worked with diverse groups of people, requiring consensus building to achieve results. As a councilwoman I will work tirelessly to reinstate good fiscal management, efficient and respectful meetings, and truly representative processes leading to common sense policy.

Together we can build a better future for our City.
