LET THE WORK I'VE DONE SPEAK FOR ME!

I moved to this area in 1957 and bought a house in East Palo Alto in 1964. Since then I have been a tireless community volunteer while raising my family here. I have one son who is a doctor in Texas, one son who is completing his degree in Mass Media while working for KPFA and one son who is in the field of medical technology in Southern California. I have three grandsons and two granddaughters.

For nearly 30 years I worked successfully with the Ravenswood Little League, Nabata Yero Gridiron Club,Bobby Sox, Ujima Security Council, Youth Unity for Community Action (YUCA) as well as with other groups and associations. I was elected to the Ravenswood Recreation and Park District and two times to the East Palo Alto Sanitary District. I supported incorporation and have attended most City Council and Planning Commission Meetings since then. Additionally I served on the first Public Safety Commission for our City. After working for 24 years in microbiology research at Stanford Research Institute, Stanford University and University of Southern California (USC), I took an early retirement. For the past 9 years my wife and I have operated a retail shop locally that serves the cultural needs of the community.
