Candidate for
City Council; Town of Colma

Helen Fisicaro was born and raised in San Francisco. For over 31 years, Helen has resided in San Mateo County. During the past 25 years, Helen and her spouse, Dennis, have lived in the Town of Colma, raising their two children, Regina and Anthony.

In 1994, she earned a double Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Human Resource Management from San Francisco State University, after attending night school for seven years, while working full time and volunteering many hours in the community.

Helen has worked for Pacific Gas and Electric Company for 32 years and is presently the Senior Program Manager for the Multifamily Energy Efficiency Programs.

In 1994 and 1998 she was elected to the Colma Town Council. She served as Mayor in 1998 and 2002.

Helen is also a 1997 graduate of the Redwood City/San Mateo/Belmont/San Carlos Chambers Leadership Program.

In the year 2000, Helen was inducted into the San Mateo County Women's Hall of Fame and also received the prestigious Pacific Gas and Electric Company's Mielke Award for Outstanding Community Service.

In 2001, Helen received the Mercy High School Catherine Legacy Award and the Colma/Daly City Chamber of Commerce Cypress Award.
