Background

I am 39 years old and the parent of two children who have attended Cabrillo Unified School District schools' since 1992. I currently work as a Special-Education Advocate for families navigating the maze of Special Education (Individual with Disabilities Education Act / California Education Code). This work is extremely rewarding since it immediately impacts students' lives. It has also provided experience working with administrators, teachers, and other professionals involved in education.

I have lived on the coastside for over a decade.
