Revitalization of Downtown

I am working to revitalize the heart of downtown Santa Rosa
I have been working for several years to revitalize downtown. I am a member of two commmittees of the City Council to pursue this goal. I am working to reunify Courthouse Square. I am also working to redo 4th Street to include diagonal parking and beautification of the streetscape. I have worked to provide public art downtown including the benches in Courthouse Square, sculptures that will in installed downtown in coming months, future use of the ATT/PacBell buildings for murals, and I have supported the efforts to expand the museum. I have worked to encourage housing and mixed use buildings downtown. The Prince Greenway will link downtown to Railroad Square and the entirety of west Santa Rosa. I believe that our downtown could be an exciting and dynamic place and will work toward that goal in the future.
