Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Moorpark Unified School District

I am a 9 year resident of Moorpark, married to Dawn, and father to two Moorpark educated students, Brad a freshman at Moorpark College, and Hollie a sophomore at Moorpark High School. As a parent, I will work to insure that our schools are on the cutting edge of the educational realm. With a Masters Degree in Public Policy and Administration, and solid professional background in finance, I will work to eliminate wasteful spending and ensure that our children and classrooms get the highest priority as resources are allocated.

Parents need to have peace of mind when they leave their children at our schools. I will fight to ensure that our schools will remain free from violence and gangs. School districts are finding it harder to keep first rate teachers in our classrooms due to competition from other school districts as well as less stressful better paying jobs. Our children deserve the best teachers. I am committed to keeping our good teachers and maintain the highest level of education for our students.

I am endorsed by outgoing Board President Gary Cabriales, Assemblyman Tony Strickland, and former Board Member and current Moorpark City Councilman Clint Harper.
