Keep Improving What We HaveBy Stewart M. "Stew" BubarCandidate for Governing Board Member; Culver City Unified School District | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
We never can rest on our laurels, we need to keep moving ahead. Many wonderful things have been accomplished over the last 8 years. We have renovated our old buildings and built some new ones. We have developed and adopted standards to provide the framework for our educational delivery systems. We have developed and adopted new curricula to provide the very best educational opportunities for our students. I am proud that we have undertaken character education at all levels to help our students become the most tolerant and accepting generation ever. We strive to learn from diversity not to avoid it. I am not content yet that we have done all we can. We need to continue to strive for constant improvement and upgrading. We need to maintain what we have built so that it can be useful for generations to come. We need to make CCUSD the beacon of education in the sea of mediocrity. |
