Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Palmdale Elementary School District

Teaching Experience:

Thirty years in public and private education. Grades
1st thru 8th. Seventeen years in Palmdale School District
1986-2003. Served on the School Leadership Committee for
3 years, on the School Site Council for 2 years and was
the Student Council Teacher Advisor for 3 years. Served
as the chairperson for the Bilingual Teachers Committee
for 5 years. I also served as Coordinator for the English
Language Association Committee a parent organization for
4 years. As a teacher at Juniper Intermediate School I
received the Outstanding Teacher Service Award in 1990-

1991. I was also awarded the Excellence In Teaching Award
for the 7th and 8th grades while at Juniper. I am
presently serving as an elected board member of the
Palmdale School District.
